Abstract

Wonosobo is an area with high rainfall and also a tropical climate, so that many large and small rivers with potential for discharge can be utilized for electricity generation. One of them is the utilization for Hydroelectric Power (PLTA). However, the use of rivers for hydroelectric power plants (PLTA) in Wonosobo is still very small and limited, because it requires large funds and deeper research. On the other hand there are a lot of tributaries and streams from the Serayu river, with sufficient discharge and flow throughout the year without stopping also having adequate fall height to make micro-scale hydroelectric power plants. Technically there are 3 very important components in PLTMH Planning, including water discharge, drainage and houses. Water discharge here, there are several components including water, water height difference or water fall height) and also water velocity, in Alignment, this will be examined the potential for Generating and Potential high water fall. The Kejajar area has good potential for PLTMH development. Based on all the existing analysis, the area of Kejajar Village can be carried out by the construction of PLTMH.
