PERENCANAAN GEOMETRIK JALAN ALTERATIF LONGKRANG-SIDOJOYO
Abstract
Wonosobo is experiencing severe traffic congestion on Jl. S. Parman (with a saturation degree of 1.45) due to rapid economic growth and limited space. The construction of an alternative road from Longkrang to Sidojoyo has become an urgent solution to reduce traffic load and improve transportation efficiency in this densely commercial area. The planning process refers to the Bina Marga 1997 standards (road classification and geometric design) and MDPJ 2017 (pavement design based on CBR), involving traffic volume analysis, ESA calculation, and growth factors to determine the optimal pavement structure. The analysis includes the design of horizontal and vertical alignment, flexible pavement thickness calculation, and preparation of the Bill of Quantities (BoQ). The Longkrang–Sidojoyo alternative road is planned as a Class III collector road, with a design speed of 50 km/h, pavement width of 2x3 meters, and a total length of 863.468 meters. The geometric design includes one full-circle curve with a design radius of 400 meters and a vertical alignment consisting of 6 PVI points. The recommended pavement structure consists of a 40 mm AC-WC layer, a 60 mm AC-BC layer, a 145 mm AC-Base layer, and a 300 mm LFA Class A subbase layer, following subgrade improvement to a CBR of 6%. The total construction cost is estimated at Rp6,337,531,400.00.
