Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji peran mediasi knowledge creation process dalam hubungan customer orientation dan entrepreneurial orientation dengan firm performance melalui pada industri penginapan, khususnya homestay dan hotel tidak berbintang di Kabupaten Wonosobo. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam metode penelitian ini yang melibatkan 132 responden dari 1.323 unit industri penginapan yang ada. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dirancang untuk mengukur variabel customer orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge creation process, dan firm performance. SEM-PLS digunakan untuk menganalisis data dan uji hipotesis. Penelitian menunjukkan hasil bahwa firm performance tidak dipengaruhi customer orientation, sedangkan entrepreneurial orientation memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan tarhadap firm performance. Selain itu, knowledge creation process mampu mempengaruhi langsung firm performance. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya peran mediasi knowledge creation process. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penerapan strategi inovatif dan pengelolaan pengetahuan dalam meningkatkan daya saing industri penginapan di Wonosobo.
