The Journal of Economic, Management, Accounting and Technology (JEMATech) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes scholarly articles presenting original research findings, theoretical developments, and critical analyses in the fields of economics, management, accounting, and technology.

JEMATech aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, practitioners, and professionals to disseminate research findings, exchange knowledge, and contribute to scientific advancement and practical applications across various disciplines.

JEMATech also encourages interdisciplinary research integrating economics, management, accounting, and technology, particularly studies that offer theoretical contributions, methodological advancements, or practical solutions to contemporary challenges.

Manuscript Types

The Journal of Economic, Management, Accounting and Technology (JEMATech) accepts the following types of manuscripts for consideration and publication:

1. Original Research Articles

Original Research Articles present original findings derived from empirical, experimental, quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research.

Manuscripts should clearly describe the research background, objectives, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions. The research must demonstrate scientific relevance, methodological rigor, and a meaningful contribution to the existing body of knowledge.

2. Review Articles

Review Articles provide comprehensive and critical analyses of existing scholarly literature on specific topics within the journal's focus and scope.

These manuscripts should employ systematic and transparent approaches to literature identification, selection, analysis, and synthesis. Review articles are expected to identify research trends, knowledge gaps, theoretical developments, and opportunities for future research.

Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR), bibliometric analyses, and other structured literature review approaches may be considered, provided they demonstrate clear methodological procedures and substantial scholarly contributions.

3. Case Studies

Case Studies present in-depth investigations of specific cases, organizations, institutions, industries, technologies, or phenomena relevant to the journal's scope.

These manuscripts should apply appropriate research methods, provide systematic analysis, and generate meaningful insights that contribute to theoretical understanding or practical problem-solving.

Case studies must go beyond descriptive reporting by demonstrating analytical depth, scientific relevance, and clear contributions to the relevant field.

General Manuscript Requirements

All submitted manuscripts must meet the following requirements:

  1. Manuscripts must be relevant to the journal's focus and scope.

  2. Manuscripts must be original, scientifically sound, and demonstrate a clear contribution to knowledge.

  3. Manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  4. Manuscripts must comply with the journal's Author Guidelines, publication ethics, and formatting requirements.

  5. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English.

  6. All submissions will undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance, originality, quality, and compliance with the journal's requirements before proceeding to the peer-review process.

The editorial team reserves the right to decline manuscripts that fall outside the journal's scope or do not meet the required scientific and editorial standards.
