BUDAYA API DAN BUDAYA BERHUNI DI DESA KARANGTENGAH BATUR, BANJARNEGARA

Abstract
Teori api dan arsitektur masih terimplementasikan pada rumah tinggal di dataran tinggi. Budaya penggunaan api sebagai pusat aktivitas dari masyarakat dataran tinggi menjadikan api sebagai budaya berhuni. Api mempunyai nilai simbolis yang tinggi sehingga perlu mengungkap budaya api dan berhuni rumah tinggal. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengungkap relasi api dalam mempengaruhi budaya berhuni rumah tinggal vernakular. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data dari informan dan observasi di lapangan. Analisa data menggunakan analisa deksriptif dengan menganalisa budaya yang terjadi di desa Karangtengah Kecamatan Batur Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa api menjadi pusat aktivitas dari masyarakat desa Karangtengah, Batur, Banjarnegara
