Publication Ethics

Journal of Economic, Business, and Engineering (JEBE) is a journal for the publication of scientific research results/ Thesis/ Dissertation of students in the fields of Economics, Business, and Engineering. Journal of Economics, Business and Engineering (JEBE) is published 2 (two) times a year, in October and April with e-ISSN 2716-2583.

This statement of scientific code of ethics is a statement of code of ethics for all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, reviewers, and writers. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications essentially upholds three ethical values ​​in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicting interests in managing publications; (ii) Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those entitled as authors; and (iii) Honesty, i.e. free from duplication, fabrication, falsification and plagiarism in publications.

 

Publisher

1. Publisher are responsible for publishing manuscripts that after going through the process of editing, reviewing, and layout in accordance with the rules of publishing a Scientific Journal.
2. Publisher are responsible for ensuring academic freedom for the editors and Mitrabestari in carrying out their respective duties.
3. Publisher are responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, and editorial freedom.

Editors

1. Editors are responsible for deciding articles that are suitable for publication referring to the applicable legal requirements regarding copyright infringement, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
2. In the process of reviewing and accepting the manuscript, the editorial team is based on the principle of equal treatment in decision making for publication.
3. The editor and editorial team will not disclose information about the submitted manuscript except with the author's permission.
4. Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by editors for their own research purposes and will be returned directly to the author.

Reviewers

1. Reviewers helps the editor in making editorial decisions regarding the incoming manuscripts
2. Reviewers is responsible for the recommendations of the manuscript he studied.
3. The study of the manuscript is carried out objectively, and supported by clear arguments.
4. Reviewers is responsible for quotations, references, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism of the manuscript he studies.
5. Reviewers must always maintain the confidentiality of information and not use information from the text it studies for personal gain / interest.

Authors

1. The author must present the text of the results of his thoughts or research clearly, honestly, and without duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
2. The author is responsible for the confirmation submitted on the manuscript that has been written.
3. The author must show references from the opinions and works of others quoted.
4. The author must write the script ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing regulations.
5. The author does not mind if the manuscript has edited the review and layout process without changing the substance or main ideas of the writing.
