Open Access Policy

Journal of Economic, Business and Engineering (JEBE) is an open access journal. All content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution, immediately upon publication and without any embargo. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access. No registration is required to read or download any content.

Authors retain copyright and full publishing rights to their articles without restrictions, and grant the journal the right of first publication and non-exclusive publishing rights. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows anyone to share and adapt the work for any purpose, including commercially, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and to the original publication in this journal. The license is stated on each article page and is not changed by any other term of this website.

This license applies to articles published from 8 October 2026. Articles published before this date remain available under the license shown on each article page (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Copyright of the journal website (design, logos and layout) is separate from the copyright of the published articles.

Repository (self-archiving) Policy

Authors may deposit all versions of their article (the submitted version, the accepted manuscript and the published version of record) in an institutional or subject repository, or on a personal website, at any time and without embargo, provided that the original publication in Journal of Economic, Business and Engineering (JEBE) is cited and a link to the published article is given.

Archiving Policy

Journal of Economic, Business and Engineering (JEBE) preserves its content by depositing copies with the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine, archive.org), an independent non-profit digital library. After each issue is published, the journal home page, the policy pages, the issue's table of contents, and every article page and full-text PDF of the issue are submitted to the Internet Archive, and the resulting captures are checked.

Archived copies are publicly accessible at web.archive.org. If the journal ceases publication, these copies remain available there. The Internet Archive is operated by a third party and is not controlled by the journal.

Authors may also deposit their own articles in a repository (see the Repository Policy above).
