Abstract

Kenyamanan termal merupakan aspek yang penting dalam bangunan. Kinerja termal bangunan menjadi faktor keberhasilan bangunan dalam mewadahi aktivitas penghuni. Nilai vernakular menjadi salah satu nilai dalam pencapaian kenyamanan termal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap lingkungan termal di rumah vernakular pegunungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengukuran varaibel termal dengan menggunakan alat pengukur termal. Analisis menggunakan grafik yang disertai dengan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rumah vernakular di Gunung Alang masih mengedepankan nilai vernakular dalam pencapaian kenyamanan termal. Rumah vernakular di Gunung alang mempunyai karakteristik unik yang menjadikan rumah tinggal beserta penghuninya mengandung nilai vernakular.
