Peer Reviewe Process

Catha Saintifica : Journal of Creativity and Inovation Technology maintains peer review standards while increasing the efficiency of the process.

Submitted manuscripts will first be reviewed by an editor. The manuscript will be evaluated in the office, whether it matches the focus and scope of the Journal of Innovation in Educational and Cultural Research or has major methodological deficiencies and a similarity score using Turnitin. Once fulfilled it will be sent to reviewers. The initial review process takes a minimum of 3 months. The review process uses a double-blind peer review method.

All research articles published in Catha Saintifica : Journal of Creativity and Innovation Technology undergo full peer review, the main characteristics of which are listed below:

  • All research articles are reviewed by at least two suitably qualified experts.
  • All publishing decisions are made by the journal's Editor-in-Chief based on the reviews provided.
  • Editorial Board members provide insight, advice, and guidance to the Editor-in-Chief generally and assist with decision making regarding specific submissions.
  • The Managing Editor provides administrative support that enables Catha Saintifica: Journal of Creativity and Innovation Technology to maintain the integrity of peer review while providing rapid turnaround times and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers, and editors.
  • Catha Saintifica : Journal of Creativity and Innovation Technology also obtains additional benefits through the manuscript referral process of high-quality peer review carried out by leading journals.

Peer review of refereed papers:

Catha Saintifica : Journal of Creativity and Innovation Technology will immediately decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions to peer-reviewed papers based on reviews and editorial insights from supporting journals. Additionally, Editors will have the option to request additional reviews if necessary. Authors will be notified when the Editor determines that further review is necessary.

Peer review of submitted novel manuscripts:

Articles submitted directly to Catha Saintifica : Journal of Creativity and Innovation Technology will be fully reviewed by at least two qualified experts in the field selected by the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief or designated Editorial Board member will then decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions based on the reviews and comments received. The editor will decide whether each submission reports well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper. Priority assessment will not be a factor in decision making, but all papers must provide additional or new contributions to the literature. Decision categories include:

  • Rejected - Rejected manuscripts will not be published and the author will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript to Catha Saintifica: Journal of Creativity and Innovation Technology.
  • Resubmit for Review The submission will need to be reworked, but with significant changes, it may be accepted. However, this will require a second round of review.
  • Accepted with Revisions - Manuscripts that receive a decision to be accepted with revisions will be published in Catha Saintifica: Journal of Creativity and Innovation Technology provided that minor/major modifications are made. Revisions will be reviewed by the editor to ensure necessary updates are made prior to publication.
  • Accepted - Accepted manuscripts will be published in their original form without the need for further modification.
