Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Sistematika Penulisan pada Jurnal Biner : Jurnal Ilmiah Informatika dan Komputer adalah sebagai berikut:

  • Judul: dapat merepresentasikan isi artikel, maksimal 14 kata
  • Terdapat Nama Penulis, Email, dan Afiliasi Penulis (Program Studi, Fakultas, Perguruan Tinggi)
  • Abstrak: teridiri dari tujuan, teori, metode, hasil, kata kunci, ditulis dalam 2 bahasa (Indonesia dan Inggris), sejumlah 150-200 kata
  • Pendahuluan: memuat tentang fenomena, riset terdahulu, research gap/motivasi riset, tujuan penelitian, manfaat penelitian (teoritis, prkatis, metodologis)
  • Metode: bagian ini menjelaskan bagaimana penelitian itu dilakukan. Materi pokok bagian ini adalah: (1) rancangan penelitian; (2) populasi dan sampel sasaran penelitian); (3) teknik pengumpulan data dan pengembangan instrumen; (4) dan teknik analisis data.
  • Hasil dan Pembahasan: Bagian ini merupakan bagian utama artikel hasil penelitian dan biasanya merupakan bagian terpanjang dari suatu artikel. Hasil penelitian yang disajikan dalam bagian ini adalah hasil “bersih”. Proses analisis data seperti perhitungan statistik dan proses pengujian hipotesis tidak perlu disajikan. Hanya hasil analisis dan hasil pengujian hipotesis saja yang perlu dilaporkan. Pembahasan  dalam artikel bertujuan untuk: (1) menjawab rumusan masalah dan  pertanyaan-pertanyaan penelitian; (2) menunjukkan bagaimana temuan-temuan itu diperoleh; (3) menginterpretasi/menafsirkan temuan-temuan; (4) mengaitkan hasil temuan penelitian dengan struktur pengetahuan yang telah mapan; dan (5) memunculkan teori-teori baru atau modifikasi teori yang telah ada.
  • Penutup: berisi (1) Simpulan yang menyajikan ringkasan dari uraian mengenai hasil dan pembahasan, mengacu pada tujuan penelitian, dan (2) Saran disusun berdasarkan temuan penelitian yang telah dibahas. Saran dapat mengacu pada tindakan praktis, pengembangan teori baru, dan/atau penelitian lanjutan.
  • Daftar Pustaka: Untuk penulisan kutipan artikel dan daftar pustaka menggunakan IEEE Style. Disarankan untuk menggunakan references tools seperti: Mendeley, EndNote, Zotero, dan sebagainya.
