Abstract
This paper aimed to find out the interpretation of KH. Taufiqul Hakim on the verses of social ethics in Tafsir Al-Mubarak surat al-Hujurat QS. 1- 13 and their relevance in social life. The chosen method was qualitative methods by using literature studies. With this analytical study, it would be known how the interpretation of KH. Taufiqul Hakim on the verses of social ethics in Tafsir Al-Mubarak surat al-Hujurat QS. 1- 13 and their relevance in social life.
The results of this research are still very relevant to be applied not only to the past when the Prophet Muhammad was still alive, but also to be applied to modern-contemporary times, because indeed the Qur'an was revealed as a guide for all mankind throughout the ages. This is what makes the Qur’an called a book that is "ṣālih li kulli zamān wa makān" or whose meaning is relevant to the times..
