Introduction (Calisto MT 11, Normal)

The structure of articles in Manarul Quran follows the IMRAD format (Introduction, Method, Result, and Discussion). The Introduction consists of the background, the research problem, the objectives and the hypothesis (if any). It gives readers essential information about the topic under study, such as reviewing and extending previous studies, describing and explaining why and how the research problem exists, or defining the key components of the study (concepts, people, places, objects). The background information should show the root of the problem being studied, the appropriate context of the problem in relation to theory, research and/or practice, its scope, and the extent to which previous research has successfully examined the problem, noting in particular where your study stands with regard to the problem.

Sub-section of the Discussion (Calisto MT 11, Bold)

The Discussion presents the research findings and their discussion. Findings and discussion must refer to primary sources. The primary sources used as references must be recent, from the last 10 years, mainly from scholarly journal articles. The article as a whole must use no fewer than twenty primary sources.

If tables or figures are needed, a table can be presented as follows:

Sub-section of the Discussion (Calisto MT 11, Bold)

The Discussion presents other research findings together with their discussion. The findings written here must still be supported by adequate data. The findings are directed at answering the questions or hypotheses that have been put forward.

In the discussion, authors are required to present sources in the form of footnotes (footnote) and a bibliography (bibliography). If a footnote is repeated, the repeated footnote is written in short form. Use a reference application such as Mendeley, Zotero, etc. when writing footnotes. Examples of footnotes are as follows:

One well-developed paragraph is sufficient as a conclusion, although in some cases two or three paragraphs of conclusion may be needed.
