Behaviorist-Structuralist Theory: Implementation of Arabic Language Learning in Workshop Classes
Teori Behavioris-Strukturalis : Implementasi Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Kelas Bengkel
Abstract
This study aims to explain and examine the methodology of learning foreign languages, in this case Arabic in behaviorist-structuralist theory which is oriented towards measurable and observable results and uses repetition and training methods. The research was carried out in a special class using action research data collection techniques: interview and recording stages, in the form of direct and indirect interviews. The data analysis techniques are: 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, 3) conclusions drawn. Through several analyses, the researcher found three factors for the application of the theory, namely, (1) the learning factor, by repeating speech and dialogue in Arabic, (2) the preparation factor, to practice repeating speech with isim/fi'il also replacing and, (3) the intelligence factor for the death of the expansion of Arabic sentence patterns. All findings of the excess of behaviorist-structuralist theory in the implementation of Arabic language learning in special classrooms have an impact on intelligence in structured Arabic language learning.
