Abstrak

Introduction and Objective: Important for nurses to be able to take clinical decisions by involving patients and families in their nursing care so that the nursing process provided to clients is directed as a reflection process for both nurses and clients. Objective: How to clinical nursing decisions making.

Methodology: The methodology used in scientific publications with qualitative methods using literature review.

Results and conclusions: The literature search results showed that the decision making process was a reflection of the nurse or client, clinical nursing decision making must be an interaction between nurse-client, clinical nursing decision making can be done in every nursing process, the nurse's duty during the decision making process this was as a facilitator to provide facilities and support to clients, clinical decision making by involving clients will increase the level of independence for clients, clinical decision making required critical thinking skills for nurses. Indonesian nursing were decision making has not been fully carried out between nurse-client. The nurse still acts as the sole decision maker. So that further understanding needed related to clinical nursing decision making in the hope that the nurse's role will be more apparent as care givers who will increase public trust in the nursing profession.
