Language and culture are deeply intertwined in learning a foreign language, especially in religious educational settings like madrasas with distinctive characteristics. Using a qualitative approach, this research reviews relevant scientific sources—including journal articles, academic books, and curriculum policy documents—focused on integrating local wisdom into English education. Findings suggest that incorporating local wisdom into the curriculum can make foreign language learning more relevant, reinforce students' cultural identity, and promote intercultural communication skills. Additionally, this approach enables teachers to develop contextual, meaningful teaching materials that reflect students' social realities, preventing English learning from becoming isolated from their cultural background. The study highlights the importance of designing an English curriculum that emphasizes both linguistic competence and the transmission of local values and culture. This foundation is essential for cultivating madrasah generations capable of speaking foreign languages while maintaining their cultural identity. The study is a descriptive qualitative study, using listening techniques with advanced notes. The subjects of this study were 73 subjects taken using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis concluded that Islamic religious education students in completing their theses at the Al-Qur'an Science University in Wonosobo have adventitious values (fighting power) which is a person's ability to face obstacles and challenges in completing the thesis. These values include feeling empowered, steadfast, optimistic, and having the ability to survive in the face of difficulties. This study has theoretical implications, namely dissecting the flow of adventitious intelligence in detail, then analyzing life lessons where positive things are used as lessons to be emulated. The practical implication is that this study can be used as a reference for students to provide life education in working on theses. The study provides recommendations for academics who are interested in studying adventitious intelligence, as well as the need for closer mentoring for students who are working on theses.</em></p> Robingun Suyud El Syam A. Data were collected in a natural setting as a direct source of data, namely from Islamic Religious Education teachers, and then analyzed descriptively. The findings show that the learning methods used in Islamic religious education at SMK Takhassus Al-Qur'an are highly varied, including: inquiry learning, discovery learning, nature contemplation, assignments, discussions, gallery walks, and practical work. This diversity has resulted in improving students' intellectual intelligence. This success is reflected in the students' increased ability to read, memorize, and analyze various materials presented by the teacher. Although the process encountered several obstacles that prevented this improvement from proceeding as expected by the teacher, the variety of learning methods has produced students with good spiritual intelligence. This is indicated by students' polite behavior towards teachers, staff, and their peers. This increase in spiritual intelligence does not arise solely from the Islamic religious education learning process. Rather, it is the accumulation of learning methods that foster understanding and a school environment that supports the development of spiritual intelligence.</em></p> Muhammad Ma’ruf Rifqi Muntaqo Robingun Suyud El Syam ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2025-06-02 2025-06-02 7 1 54 70 PENGUATAN LITERASI AL-QUR’AN MENGGUNAKAN SUMBER BELAJAR QIRO’ATI https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/takdib/article/view/10057 <p><em>This article aims to explore the strengthening of Al-Quran literacy using Qiro'ati learning resources at MI Yaspi Banyusidi II Pakis, Magelang Regency.</em></p> <p><em>This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection instruments through observation, structured interviews, document studies, and literature studies. The data collection steps in this study include the pre-field research stage, the fieldwork stage, and the post-research stage. Qualitative analysis is carried out through the following stages: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Research findings confirm that strengthening Quranic literacy using Qiro'ati learning resources is carried out daily within a one-hour learning period, accompanied by teachers. The application of the Qiro'ati method hones students in the habit of reading the Quran in all hijaiyah letters so that all students are increasingly optimal in pronouncing letters according to their makhraj. This strengthening of Quranic literacy has implications for helping students form makhroj and tartil readings, memorizing them according to the rules of tajwid and gahrib, in addition to improving students' Quranic writing skills. Data were collected from field notes, interview results, and documentation, then classified into several categories, units, and patterns, and then conclusions were drawn.</em><em>&nbsp;</em><em>The findings and analysis show that the habit of performing the Dhuha prayer in congregation has been proven to shape the character of students into a generation that is disciplined, consistent, patient, loves worship, has good morals and is enthusiastic in seeking knowledge. Some students have become accustomed to it both at school and at home, although some are still not accustomed to it. The habit of performing the Dhuha prayer in the formation of religious character is attempted by providing socialization to students about the Dhuha prayer worship which is highly recommended by the Prophet Muhammad, along with its benefits. The habit of performing the Dhuha prayer has implications for providing a sense of calm, concentration and enthusiasm in the classroom so that learning becomes conducive.
