<p><em>This research was conducted to analyze dehumanization behavior and the resistance to dehumanization in an educational setting in Matilda's The Musical movie. The aims of this study are: (1) to know how the dehumanization of the educational setting in Ronald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical movie; (2) to find out how characters' resistance to dehumanization reflected in Ronald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical movie. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method and is analyzed using sociological studies of literature. Based on the research result, the writer found the dehumanization action of Miss Trunchbull as the principal which is: using someone’s pronouns as disgusting animals, carrying out oppression, and carrying out threats and slander. Matilda as the main character is aware of Miss Trunchbull’s act of dehumanization and fights against her. This resistance starts from critical awareness, rejection by saying no to the dehumanization, rebellion to restore humanity, and using her telekinesis power to fight Miss Trunchbull.</em></p>Sulfia Rizki AgustinaAbdur Rofik

<p><em>This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to explore such as behavior, perception, motivation, and action, to understand the experiences of the subjects using descriptive language and natural methods. This study shows that the Pembelajaran Unggul English Textbook contains 10 values of Islamic character education in the reading section of the textbook, and these values are practiced by Eleventh-grade students of SMK Purnama, which leads to a positive attitude in their behavior.</em><em> In conclusion, it can be said that Islamic character education in the Pembelajaran Unggul English textbook has an effect on the positive attitudes and character development of eleventh-grade students of SMK Purnama and can increase their learning motivation. </em></p>Millati Ashfa Adzkiya

<p><em>This study aimed to investigate the implementation of the end-of-semester evaluation in Arabic language instruction at Pondok Pesantren Al Mubaarok Manggisan Wonosobo's IX Wustho level of Formal Religious Education (PDF). Written and oral exams are the two modalities used in the implementation. Qualitative field research methodology was used in this study. Participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation were some data collection techniques used. The Head of the Boarding School, Arabic language instructors, and students enrolled in Pondok Pesantren Al Mubaarok Manggisan's IX Wustho Formal Religious Education (PDF) class served as the study's subjects. <table width="642"> <tbody> <tr> <td width="451"> <p><em>The aims of this research are as follows: (1) To examine how the material in the book "Fun Learning Basic Arabic I" is presented to beginner Arabic language learners. (2) To evaluate the "Fun Learning Good at Basic Arabic I" teaching aids intended for students who study Arabic as a first language. (3) Evaluate the content and teaching aids in the book "Fun Learning Basic Arabic I" regarding its application to beginner Arabic language learners. Because the research source in this research is books, it is included in the library research category. To collect information from primary and secondary sources, content documentation techniques are used as a data collection method. In addition, non-statistical analysis or discourse analysis are two forms of data analysis methodology used in this research. The research results show that: (1) The teaching materials in the book "Fun Learning Basic Arabic I" are considered suitable for students learning Arabic at a beginner level. The information offered is suitable for use at an initial level because it is interesting and meets the objectives of the presentation category. (2) The book presentation strategy is considered quite good. This book discusses factors including motivation, contextual problems, presentation indicators, and presentation direction indicators that must be considered when presenting content. (3) The book "Fun Learning Basic Arabic I" has quite good connections in terms of relevance between the presentation of the subject matter and graphic media.</em></p> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="451"> <p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p> <p>Tujuan penelitian ini (1) Untuk mengkaji bagaimana materi dalam buku “Belajar Menyenangkan Bahasa Arab Dasar I” disajikan kepada pembelajar bahasa Arab pemula. (2) Untuk mengevaluasi alat peraga “Fun Learning Good at Basic Arab I” yang diperuntukkan bagi siswa yang mempelajari bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa pertama. (3) Mengevaluasi isi dan alat peraga yang terdapat dalam buku “Belajar Menyenangkan Bahasa Arab Dasar I” berkenaan dengan penerapannya pada pembelajar bahasa Arab pemula. Karena sumber penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah buku, maka termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kepustakaan. Untuk mengumpulkan informasi dari sumber primer dan sekunder, teknik dokumentasi konten digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Selain itu, analisis non-statistik atau analisis wacana adalah dua bentuk metodologi analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Bahan ajar pada buku “Belajar Menyenangkan Bahasa Arab Dasar I” dinilai sesuai untuk siswa yang belajar bahasa Arab tingkat pemula. Informasi yang ditawarkan sesuai untuk digunakan pada tingkat awal karena menarik dan memenuhi tujuan kategori presentasi. (2) Strategi penyajian buku dinilai cukup baik. Buku ini membahas faktor-faktor antara lain motivasi, permasalahan kontekstual, indikator penyajian, dan indikator arah penyajian yang harus diperhatikan saat menyajikan konten. One of the languages studied and also a second language in Indonesia is Arabic. Language also cannot be separated from punctuation. Punctuation is a sign used in the spelling system. Punctuation itself plays a role in showing the structure of writing, intonation, and pauses when reading. Punctuation can help readers understand the meaning of writing correctly. Therefore, punctuation is essential so that the sentences in a paragraph are easy to understand and that there are no errors in the meaning conveyed by the author. In this research, the author will discuss several materials regarding punctuation. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely analyzing the urgency of punctuation on semantics in Arabic sentences along with examples.</em></p> <p> </p> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="451"> <p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p> <p>Bahasa merupakan sebuah sarana untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada seseorang, baik secara lisan maupun tulisan. Salah satu bahasa yang dipelajari sekaligus bahasa kedua di Indonesia yaitu bahasa Arab. Bahasa juga tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan tanda baca. Tanda baca ialah tanda yang digunakan dalam sistem ejaan. Tanda baca itu sendiri berperan menunjukkan sebuah struktur tulisan, intonasi, dan jeda pada saat pembacaan. Tanda baca dapat membantu pembaca untuk memahami makna tulisan dengan tepat. Oleh karena itu, tanda baca sangat penting agar kalimat dalam suatu paragraf mudah dipahami sehingga tidak terjadi kesalahan makna yang disampaikan oleh penulis. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis akan membahas tentang beberapa materi mengenai tanda baca.
