He used his words to resist Israeli colonialism and was even hailed as a revolutionary poet for his anti-Israel stance. To interpret the reading of Mahmoud Darwish's “الجميلات هن الجميلات” and “كمقهى صغير هو الحب” poem under the theme of “هي” in “كزهر اللوز أو ابعد” collection. For this study, the qualitative descriptive method was employed. The researcher gathered primary and secondary data by reading and comprehending them carefully. The data was then identified, recorded, and categorized into groups, then analyzed using Michael Riffaterre's theory to address the research questions. Finally, the results of the analysis were used to conclude. The results of this research are the beauty of a woman is something universal, and every woman has a unique beauty that resembles and is present in every second line of every verse. And about love, which is like a small cafe, it’s true about the author of the poem. This research has two main benefits. Firstly, theoretically, it is expected to increase interest in the Arabic language and culture in Indonesia through the study of Arabic poem. Additionally, it aims to expand scientific knowledge related to the Arabic language and literature. Secondly, practically, this research is anticipated to contribute to the development of further research in the study of the Arabic language and literature. It can be used as a reference for solving various problems and as a consideration in future studies.
Indah Sofi Hafsoh, Ihsan Sa'dudin, Maman Dzul'iman, Tarya Tarya ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/5924 Wed, 26 Jun 2024 11:08:33 +0700 Masculinity Of Language In The Novel "Rajul As Sama' Al-Awal" By Majdi Sholih https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/6969
The study of masculinity has been central in developing an understanding not only of the interactional strategies used by men in different contexts, but also how language is involved in gender structures of power, domination, and control. This theory is considered relevant because it focuses on cognitive and affective aspects of speaking. The research method used is literature review, which involves a critical analysis of Dat Bao's theory and related literature, as well as the development of teaching materials that incorporate these principles. From this research, it was found that there are five principles of Dat Bao's theory recommended in the development of teaching materials for speaking skills, namely: 1) Conceptualizing students' needs; 2) Identifying lesson materials and communication situations; 3) Identifying verbal communication strategies; 4) Utilizing verbal sources from real life; 5) Designing skill acquisition activities. These five principles provide a new foundation to achieve relevant and effective speaking skill learning goals. For developing Arabic speaking skills teaching materials, these principles make the lessons more contextual, engaging, and effective for students.
Denitia Berliani; Elal Sutri; Abul Ma'ali ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/6818 Sun, 30 Jun 2024 08:22:25 +0700 The Influence of Self-Efficacy on Understanding Arabic Syntax in Arabic Language Education Study Program Students, Jambi University Class https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/7002
This research aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy on understanding Arabic syntax among students of the Jambi University Arabic Language Education Study Program Class of 2022. This research was conducted at FKIP Jambi University in November 2023-March 2024. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires/ questionnaire and distributed test questions to students of the Jambi University Arabic Language Education Study Program Class of 2022. After obtaining the data, the data was analyzed using quantitative research with a correlational type of research. The results of the research show that there is an influence and relationship between the variable self-efficacy and the variable understanding Arabic syntax with a moderate degree of relationship and a positive form of relationship. Knowing that N = 38, the value of r table is at the 5% level or 0.05 = 0.320. As is known, data is said to be correlated if r count > r table and p value sig. < 0.05. It is known that the calculated r is 0.459 > 0.320 and the significance value is 0.004 < 0.05. Then, based on the calculation of the determinant coefficient, the magnitude of the contribution of self-efficacy and understanding of Arabic syntax is obtained based on the calculation of KD = r2 x 100%, then, (0.459)2 x 100% = 21.06% and the remaining 78.94% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. Based on the results of these data calculations, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so that a positive and significant influence is obtained between self-efficacy and the variable understanding of Arabic syntax.
Azila Munawaroh Putri, Eva Iryani, Firman Afrian Pratama ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/7002 Thu, 22 Aug 2024 18:46:18 +0700 Model Pembelajaran Flipped Classroom Berbasis Language Activity: Studi Evaluatif Pembelajaran Maharah Kalam https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/7019
This study explores the implementation and evaluation of the Flipped Classroom Model in Arabic language learning, specifically focusing on Maharatul kalam (speaking skills) at MAN 2 Wonosobo post-COVID-19 pandemic. The Flipped Classroom Model, a 21st-century learning approach, flips in-class and out-of-class activities, allowing students to engage with learning materials independently before face-to-face sessions. Through qualitative evaluative methods, including case study design, data were collected from stakeholders including policymakers, teachers, and students. Analysis involved SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Results indicate significant improvements in students' analytical skills, highlighting the model's effectiveness. However, challenges such as technological dependency and uneven student participation were noted. Despite these, opportunities for personalized learning and access to global educational resources were recognized. Overall, the study underscores the relevance and potential of the Flipped Classroom Model in enhancing Arabic language learning post-pandemic, while emphasizing the need for ongoing monitoring and adaptation
Akhirudin Akhirudin, Rifqi Aulia Rahman, Azwar Annas, Ahmad Fadhel Syakir Hidayat ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/7019 Sun, 30 Jun 2024 09:12:08 +0700 Exploring the Efficacy of Quranic Arabic Corpus as an Instructional Tool to Enhance Nahwu Proficiency among UIN Jakarta Development Madrasah Students https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/6679
This research aims to solve problems in Nahwu learning; the many students who find it difficult to apply Nahwu rules in Arabic texts, especially the Koran, require teachers to innovate information technology-based learning. Based on this, researchers will research the effectiveness of using the Quranic Arabic Corpus based on teaching materials and online learning media in making it easier for students to understand and analyse Nahwu grammar in Arabic. This research uses a quantitative approach with a True-Experimental design (experimental and control groups). The population of this research is students in the Aliyah class of the Fisabilillah Bekasi Islamic Boarding School. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling Probability Sampling, with 36 students consisting of 18 experimental and 18 control class students. The data was calculated using the instrument validity test, the t-test normality test to prove the researcher's hypothesis and the N-Gain test to see the level of effectiveness. The data analysis technique uses hypothesis testing with the T-test. The research results were seen from how big the difference was in the post-test results after using the Quranic Arabic Corpus between the experimental group and the control group and the students' responses based on the questionnaire distributed during the research. The results of this research are as follows: First, there is a statistical difference in the average scores in the experimental group and the control group in Nahwu learning after using the Quranic Arabic Corpus; there is a significant difference, namely 67.22 for the experimental class while, for the control class it is 44.72. The two calculated "T" arithmetic results (4.48) are greater than the "T" table results (1.79) at the 5% significance level and (2.44) at the 1% significance level. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Third, the students' responses were very good, and they agreed that using the Quranic Arabic Corpus in Nahwu learning was considered effective. Based on the results above, the researcher concluded that the use of teaching materials as well as learning media based on the Quranic Arabic Corpus was effectively implemented in Nahwu learning.
Achmad Fudhaili ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unsiq.ac.id/index.php/liar/article/view/6679 Sun, 30 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Tanfiidz Barnaamij Jaulah Al ‘Arabiyah Fii Ma’had Al Ittihad Al Islaami Sampang Madura ‘Ala Dhoui Nadzhoriyyati Georg R.
