Abstract

This study examines the challenges of learning shorof at Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor, Female Campus 2, where traditional teaching methods have led to less-than-optimal student outcomes. To improve instructional effectiveness, an innovative tool called the "FM Smart Finger" was developed, tailored specifically for teaching fi'il mu'tal to Class 2 KMI students. Employing an experimental research design, data were collected through questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The T-test analysis revealed a significant improvement in academic performance among students using the "FM Smart Finger" compared to those who followed traditional methods. This study highlights the potential of innovative instructional tools to greatly enhance learning outcomes in shorof education. The "FM Smart Finger" offers a new approach to teaching complex linguistic concepts, paving the way for further research and wider application in different educational contexts.
