Abstract

Coastal tourism merupakan sektor strategis yang berkontribusi besar terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi kawasan pesisir, namun sangat rentan terhadap dampak perubahan iklim seperti kenaikan permukaan air laut, erosi pantai, dan cuaca ekstrem. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya perencanaan berkelanjutan untuk menjaga keberlangsungan kawasan wisata pesisir serta ekosistem yang mendukungnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Coastal tourism dan perubahan iklim serta mengidentifikasi strategi perencanaan berkelanjutan melalui pendekatan adaptasi dan mitigasi terhadap dampak perubahan iklim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui studi kepustakaan (library research) dan online research. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi pengaruh perubahan iklim terhadap perkembangan pariwisata pesisir serta upaya perencanaan yang dapat diterapkan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan kawasan wisata pantai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan iklim memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap Coastal tourism, baik dari sisi penawaran maupun permintaan pariwisata. Dampak tersebut meliputi kenaikan permukaan laut, erosi pantai, kerusakan ekosistem laut, penurunan kualitas destinasi wisata, hingga perubahan preferensi wisatawan terhadap tujuan wisata. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa strategi adaptasi dan mitigasi menjadi langkah penting dalam mempertahankan keberlanjutan kawasan wisata pesisir. Beberapa strategi yang dapat diterapkan meliputi Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM), perlindungan dan restorasi ekosistem pesisir seperti mangrove dan lamun, penerapan coastal setback, penguatan kode bangunan dan standar desain kawasan pesisir, stabilisasi garis pantai, serta beach nourishment. Strategi tersebut dinilai mampu meningkatkan ketahanan kawasan wisata pesisir terhadap dampak perubahan iklim di masa kini maupun masa mendatang.
