Policy update, October 2026

We have updated the journal's policies. The main points are below, each with a link to the full text.

• Peer review. Manuscripts are reviewed under double-anonymous peer review by two independent reviewers, who are asked to respond within three weeks. Peer review policy
• Similarity screening. Every submitted manuscript is screened with Turnitin; manuscripts above 20% similarity are returned to the authors or rejected. Publication ethics
• License and copyright. Articles published from 8 October 2026 are licensed under CC BY 4.0, and authors retain copyright. Earlier articles remain under the license shown on their own page. Open access policy
• Fees. All fees are listed on the fees page; the journal does not offer waivers and makes no charge for withdrawing a manuscript.
• Archiving. After each issue is published, its pages and PDFs are submitted to the Internet Archive. Archiving policy
