UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL HURUF ALFABET MELALUI METODE SQ3R DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA KARTU HURUF PADA ANAK USIA DINI
Abstract
The purpose of this study was conducted for: 1) How is the objective condition of student’s ability to recognize the letter of the alphabet for group A children at RA Miftahul Jannah Bandung City before the SQ3R method was carried out using letter card media, 2) How is the process of implementing recognizing the letters of the alphabet for group A children at RA Miftahul Jannah Bandung City through the SQ3R method using letter card media, 3) How are the results of increasing the ability to recognize the letter of the alphabet for children in group A at RA Miftahul Jannah Bandung City through the SQ3R method using letter card media. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). Based on data analysis and discussion of research results, it can be concluded that: the results of the study indicate that there is an increase in the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet through the SQ3R method using letter card media. The results of the initial observation of the action showed that there were no children who had the criteria for developing as expected or who got a percentage of 60%-75%.
After the action of cycles 1 and 2, the child’s ability to recognize letters of the alphabet with the criteria developed as expected became 62%. It can be concluded that through the SQ3R method using letter cards can improve the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet.
